Not an MHCA member?

MHCA is a statewide, non-profit association whose mission is to promote the delivery of quality care in a variety of home living environments. We represent over 250 diverse home care organizations that provide hands-on care to Minnesota residents. MHCA provides a variety of services to our members including information, education, advocacy for adequate reimbursement and appropriate regulation for home care, and a code of ethics for home care. MCHA is recognized as the voice for Home Care in Minnesota. Consider becoming a member to save $100 on your Annual Meeting registration. What meals are included?

Complete meal package is included!
Wednesday - Lunch/Breaks/Dinner
Thursday - Breakfast/Lunch/Breaks/Dinner
Friday - Breakfast/Break

Are there handouts available at the conference?

We are reducing our carbon footprint! As we receive handouts from the presenters, we will be posting them on our website www.mnhomecare.org. In some cases, the presenters will bring materials that will be used interactively. Handouts will be posted for 3 weeks following the conference.

May I bring my laptop to the sessions?

Yes you may! The resort is a wifi hotspot but keep in mind that there are no public charging stations. All rooms are equipped with data ports and electrical for charging.

Are there Continuing Education credits?

Conference participants can earn up to 16.5 contact hours. Sessions have been submitted for approval to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing, Minnesota Board of Nursing Home Administrators and Board of Medical Practice (Social Workers) continuing education requirements. Applicable sessions have been submitted to the Minnesota Board Physical Therapy for pre-approved continuing education hours.

What should I wear?

Since the atmosphere is a relaxed resort setting, appropriate dress for meetings is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket or sweater as it is difficult to manage the perfect temperature in the meeting rooms. Social and leisure events are as dressed up or down as you like.

Is there time for leisure?

On Thursday, there is a 3 hour window for leisure before the evening event. Enjoy the resort’s many recreation activities or sit back on the beach or many decks overlooking beautiful Gull Lake. For those who want to stay after the conference to try the 18 hole Legacy course, you may do so at a special rate of $69 plus tax before 2:30 pm and $52.50 plus tax after 2:30.

Can I bring family guests?

You are welcome to bring family members with you to enjoy the resort while you are attending the conference. Your name badge is proof of your conference registration and is required to attend any event or program. Guests may purchase separate meal tickets from the Hospitality desk.

Is there a public restaurant at Cragun’s?

There is no public restaurant at Cragun’s for your guests who are not attending the conference. Guests attending any conference meal functions may purchase meal tickets from Cragun’s. There are many nearby restaurants including the Legacy Golf Club which serves great sandwiches and offers a full menu. Feel free to pack a cooler with snacks and beverages. All rooms include a well equipped kitchen.
